Michael Phillips and his company partnered with EGC in the development, design and construction of the new Mercedes Benz Dealership in Burlington MA. Our project team, with the local help of Mr Phillips, was able to demolish the existing office facility, excavate the site and build a completely new state of the art dealership, all within record time and while struggling through one of the worst winters with record snowfall in the area.

Mike Phillips built a house for me and my family a few years ago and we are very happy with the result. My wife and I had eight kids and were pregnant with number nine when we decided to take this project on. We sold our house and the buyer wanted to move us out right away. As a result, we rented a two bedroom apartment while our house was being built – obviously not ideal. The only reason why I agreed to this was because Mike assured us that we would get this done in world record time and would be on budget. We trusted him and it certainly paid off. We now live in a beautiful colonial home that is exactly the vision that we had.
Nobody thought that we were going to be in the house in the timeframe that we set. We were. Mike knew exactly how and when everything needed to be scheduled and was on top of the sub-contractors every day. I do not recall a time when my phone call was not answered. Sometimes he would have to say that he would call me right back (which happened every time he said that), but he always picked up. We spoke every morning and would go over the itinerary for the day. I do not think that there was a day when activity wasn’t happening at the house.
I admit to being very particular in what I want. I got it all taken care of. There were great suggestions that made the house so unique and special. Mike added things along the way that made huge differences in the outcome. A window seat suggestion in the breakfast nook in the kitchen, floor to ceiling millwork for the fireplace, a certain angle for the pantry that added so much space...
I truly feel as if my home is the nicest I’ve ever been in. My family has a forever home that will be a great place for us until they carry me out hopefully many years from now.
